“I have been working very hard for many years to advance my own art and the art of tattooing. As I got started down the road of tattooing, my education came from the school of hard knocks. I didn’t know anybody in the tattoo industry or what a big world it really was. Despite the trials and tribulations of learning on my own, I started getting recognized for my tattoo art. At a Colorado Tattoo Convention, I was fortunate enough to meet Uncle Bud Yates, who would become one of the greatest influences of my life and career. He started guiding me as an artist and a business man in the tattoo industry, as well as the ethics, goals and the future. Uncle Bud also introduced me to the National Tattoo Association, which I have been a proud member of since 2000. I have toured extensively around the world for many years and have been a part of many great tattoo events . In 2006, my life took some dramatic turns, which started with a divorce. Then in August 2006, Uncle Bud was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. This forced me to take a step back and evaluate what was important to me. My kids and my art were a priority. In the fall of 2007, I met Kelly, without realizing, my wife to be. I also decided to sell my shop in Denver, “That Scary Place”, and move to Colorado Springs to work for Pikes Peak Tattoo, Uncle Bud’s studio. It was my honor to work for Uncle Bud’s Pikes Peak Tattoo and continue the traditions and help the business that was left behind. After three years, Kelly and I proudly opened the doors of our studio, “Nostalgia Tattoo Company” on October 8th, 2011.”

“In my career, I have won over 200 hundred awards nationwide and I have been published around the world. I am the only tattoo artist to ever have the same tattoo on the cover of 3 different tattoo magazines in the same month. Tattoo Magazine recognized me as one of the “Top 10 Tattoo Artists of 2005.” I am currently on the Pro Team for Ink-eeze Aftercare Product, and sponsored by Fusion Ink and Borg Tattoo Machines.

Welcome to Nostalgia Tattoo Company! This is a place that represents a journey of my life and career. Enjoy!
